The Spiral Wrap is very unique and vertually available only from a custom rod builder. The principle is that any rod with THE REEL ON TOP will torque under the pressure of fighting a fish. This makes it harder to fight the fish for you and the rod. By spiraling the guides to underneath the rod the torque is elimated and allows you to fight the fish with less effort for you and the rod. IT DOES NOT AFFECT CASTING!
